Job Title: Business Analyst / QA Business Rules Validation
Location: McLean, VA (Onsite 5 Days/Week )
Duration: Long Term

Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Analyst with strong experience in business rules validation and decision modeling. This role will work closely with business and technology teams to define, validate, and implement complex business rules.

Candidates with a mix of BA and QA experience, especially around rule validation and testing, will be a strong fit.

Key Responsibilities

Work with stakeholders to gather and document business rules and requirements

Translate business requirements into decision tables or rule models

Validate and ensure accuracy of business rules before implementation

Support implementation of rules using tools like DMN or similar frameworks

Review and analyze rule logic for completeness and consistency

Collaborate with development and QA teams during implementation cycles

Participate in testing cycles to validate rule behavior and outputs

Identify gaps, edge cases, and inconsistencies in rule definitions

Required Skills

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or QA

Strong experience in business rules validation and analysis

Hands-on experience with Decision Tables (TDM or DMN)

Ability to model and interpret complex business logic

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams

Nice to Have

Prior experience in financial services or mortgage domain

Testing experience (functional or UAT)

Exposure to rule engines or decisioning platforms

Additional Notes

This is a 100% onsite role (5 days/week)
