Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Lease Management & Fixed Assets Functional Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, enhancement, and ongoing support of Oracle Financials modules, with a strong focus on Lease Management and Fixed Assets.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle Financials applications, lease accounting processes, fixed asset lifecycle management, and integration with General Ledger (GL) and other financial modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, and support Oracle Lease Management and Fixed Assets modules.

• Manage lease accounting processes, including lease creation, modifications, renewals, terminations, and accounting adjustments.

• Support fixed asset lifecycle activities, including asset additions, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, retirements, and disposals.

• Configure and maintain depreciation methods, asset categories, books, and accounting rules.

• Ensure compliance with lease accounting standards, including ASC 842 and IFRS 16, as applicable.

• Support integration between Lease Management, Fixed Assets, General Ledger (GL), Payables (AP), and other Oracle Financials modules.

• Gather business requirements, conduct functional analysis, and translate business needs into Oracle configurations and solutions.

• Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, and documentation.

• Perform unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Troubleshoot functional issues, resolve defects, and provide production support.

• Collaborate with finance, accounting, technical, and business teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and smooth system operations.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on functional experience with Oracle Lease Management and Oracle Fixed Assets.

• Strong understanding of lease accounting, fixed asset accounting, and financial close processes.

• Experience with asset capitalization, depreciation calculations, asset transfers, retirements, and disposals.

• Knowledge of lease accounting standards such as ASC 842 and IFRS 16.

• Experience with Oracle Financials integrations, particularly GL and AP.

• Strong skills in requirements gathering, functional configuration, testing, and production support.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials and/or Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).

• Experience with Oracle Subledger Accounting (SLA), accounting rules, and financial reconciliations.

• Experience supporting Oracle Financials implementations, upgrades, or enhancements.

• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
