Senior Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Elk Grove, CA that is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead data science and data engineering initiatives from planning through delivery. This role partners with technical and business teams to drive execution, manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead data science and data engineering projects through the full project lifecycle
* Coordinate with engineering and business stakeholders to manage dependencies and anticipate impacts to data pipelines, reporting, and analytics
* Drive project execution, proactively identifying risks, blockers, and solutions
* Facilitate cross-functional meetings, track action items, and maintain project documentation
* Communicate project status, decisions, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership
* Ensure clear documentation, knowledge sharing, and alignment across teams

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience managing data science, analytics, or data engineering projects
* Proven ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business teams
* Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
* Track record of delivering results and driving projects to completion
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
