Summary

Key Responsibilities

Backlog Management: Translate the "Discovery" findings into a refined, prioritized product backlog, ensuring the team is focused on high-value MVP core POS capabilities.
Requirement Definition: Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for critical workflows including Search, Quoting, Inventory Management, and Payments.
E-commerce Alignment: Apply deep expertise in e-commerce best practices to ensure the digital quoting and payment experience meets modern industry standards.
Technical Integration: Collaborate with architects to align functional requirements with the API/routing layer, ensuring the front-end remains performant while connected to legacy backend systems.
Stakeholder Facilitation: Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders to validate MVP scope and manage expectations regarding excluded operational tasks (WMS/Receiving).
Pilot Success: Define and monitor the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the initial pilot rollout to ensure the platform vision is on track for multi-vertical scaling.
Device Strategy: Partner with UX and Engineering to ensure the product requirements account for hardware readiness and physical device constraints.

Required Experience & Skills

E-commerce Expertise (Mandatory): Minimum of 3+ years of experience working directly on E-commerce platforms. You must have a deep understanding of cart logic, payment gateways, product catalogs, and search optimization.
Product Ownership: Proven track record of managing products through a full lifecycle from initial discovery and MVP definition to build and pilot launch.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working with API-based architectures and understanding the constraints of integrating modern interfaces with legacy systems.
