About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced
AV / Video Conferencing Support Engineer to deliver high-quality, white-glove support across enterprise conferencing environments. In this role, you will ensure seamless meeting experiences by supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), AV systems, and conference room technologies for a range of users, including executive stakeholders.
This position is highly hands-on and requires a proactive, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, onsite environment and can support multiple locations across Charlotte.
What You'll Do- Provide onsite technical support for conference rooms, AV systems, and collaboration technologies
- Deploy, configure, and support Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across video conferencing hardware, software, and network performance
- Support large-scale migration from Cisco conferencing systems to Microsoft Teams Rooms
- Manage and monitor conferencing platforms using:
- Microsoft Teams Admin Center
- Call Quality Dashboard (CQD)
- Cisco Control Hub
- Use observability tools (e.g., ThousandEyes) to diagnose performance issues
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting of AV hardware (displays, cameras, microphones, control systems)
- Deliver white-glove support to end users, including executive-level stakeholders
- Assist with occasional after-hours or weekend maintenance (e.g., resets, upgrades)
- Proactively identify and resolve potential user experience issues
Minimum Qualifications- 4+ years of experience in Technology Operations, AV support, or video conferencing environments
- Experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), including configuration and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams Admin Center and Call Quality Dashboard (CQD)
- Hands-on experience with AV systems and conferencing technologies
- Ability to work onsite full-time and travel between local locations as needed
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Cisco conferencing tools (e.g., Cisco Control Hub)
- Experience supporting large-scale deployments or migrations of conferencing systems
- Familiarity with observability tools such as ThousandEyes
- Experience in enterprise environments supporting executive stakeholders
- Proven ability to anticipate needs and deliver a high-touch support experience
