Salary Range: $78,000 - $123,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing embedded software for manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshooting and debugging hardware and software issues on production lines.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
• Developing and maintaining firmware for real-time operating systems and microcontrollers.
• Performing system integration and validation testing of embedded solutions.
• Optimizing embedded systems for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation for embedded systems.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in embedded software development for manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming for microcontrollers and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherCAT, PROFINET).
• Demonstrated ability to design, debug, and test embedded systems for factory automation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherCAT, PROFINET, Modbus TCP).
• Familiarity with functional safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508, ISO 13849).
• Proficiency in real-time operating systems (RTOS) for embedded applications.
• Demonstrated experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing or other simulation environments.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for embedded systems.
