Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement firmware for manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and debug embedded systems in production environments.
• Develop and maintain real-time operating systems (RTOS) for industrial control.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate embedded systems with mechanical and electrical components.
• Optimize code for performance, reliability, and low power consumption in manufacturing applications.
• Conduct testing and validation of embedded systems to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
• Provide technical support and training for manufacturing personnel on embedded systems.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in embedded software development for manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for microcontroller programming and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Demonstrated experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherCAT, PROFINET).
• Strong understanding of hardware-software integration, including sensor interfaces and motor control.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotics or industrial automation.
• Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) beyond basic microcontroller OS.
• Knowledge of safety-critical systems design (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 61508).
• Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing or other advanced simulation techniques.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) for test automation or data analysis.
