Network Engineer

TEKsystems has a client that is looking to bring in a Network Engineer to join their team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. They are currently in the middle of a Fortinet firewall refresh and need someone to come on board to help with this project as well as day to day operations within their networking environment.
This is a fairly small company overall and their environment consists of about 100 network assets (switches, routers, firewalls) and have 350-500 employees within their organization. They have a Headquarters in Ann Arbor, a manufacturing site in Ann Arbor, and then provided ownership of IT networks to 30+ sites based in airports across the US. They have several dozen servers and about 100 VM's within the environment. The current IT team has 2 contract network engineers, several system admins, end user support technicians, and then report into the Network Manager. This opportunity will start as contract with the intention to hire this person on full time after 6 months.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
