Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java/J2EE Developer to support application development for a leading automotive manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate will have strong Java development experience along with exposure to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Rockwell technologies, and web-based manufacturing applications.

This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys working at the intersection of enterprise Java development, manufacturing technology, and industrial automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Java/J2EE applications supporting manufacturing operations.
  • Develop and integrate applications using Core Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, and REST Web Services.
  • Build and maintain web interfaces using HTML, XML, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery.
  • Work with SQL Server for application data, queries, and database integration.
  • Develop and support manufacturing applications utilizing Rockwell FTPC11.
  • Work with WXF and Vaadin frameworks for application development and UI functionality.
  • Support ElHUB, FT Live Transfer, and FT Purge functionality.
  • Troubleshoot application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, automation, QA, and IT teams to deliver reliable production applications.

Ideal Candidate

We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience developing Java-based MES or manufacturing applications and have worked with Rockwell FactoryTalk/FTPC environments.

Experience in automotive, industrial manufacturing, MES, plant-floor applications, or manufacturing automation is highly preferred.
