Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Manager / Project Coordinator - Hybrid position with a Major Insurance Company located in Minnetonka, MN. This is a 6+ month contract-to-hire opportunity. This role requires someone on-site Tuesday-Thursday, with flexibility to work remotely on Monday and Friday. Pay range: $45.00 - $55.00 per Hour
This is a blended role within an Infrastructure and Operations environment, initially focused on driving existing projects and ensuring accountability. The long-term expectation is for the candidate to own and build project structure, discipline, and standards. This position requires 3 days onsite per week.
Responsibilities: - Drive progress on existing, in-flight infrastructure projects
- Track tasks, timelines, and deliverables
- Coordinate across IT teams and directors
- Ensure follow-ups and accountability (taskmaster mindset)
- Maintain project documentation, primarily in Excel
- Help build project structure and standards for future initiatives
- Create milestones, task breakdowns, and provide visibility
- Translate technical work into trackable deliverables
- Bring discipline to loosely managed environments
Requirements: - Strong coordination and project management fundamentals (task tracking, milestones, follow-ups)
- Proven ability to drive work forward and not be passive
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and with shifting priorities
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to translate technical work into actionable steps and business-friendly language
- Experience working with technical or IT teams
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
- Collaborative but assertive with a strong follow-through and accountability mindset
Desired skills: - Exposure to infrastructure projects (data centers, networks, systems)
- Familiarity with PagerDuty or Device42 (CMDB)
- Experience building project plans from scratch
- Basic understanding of infrastructure terminology
