Salary Range: $95,000 - $142,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Battle Creek seeking IT Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of manufacturing-specific IT systems (e.g., MES, SCADA).
• Manage IT infrastructure and network operations across plant locations.
• Ensure the security and integrity of manufacturing data and operational technology (OT) systems.
• Lead IT support for production systems, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance.
• Develop and manage the IT budget for manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and implement technology solutions.
• Drive IT strategy and digital transformation initiatives within the manufacturing environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and their associated IT requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in network administration, cybersecurity, and data management.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) or similar production management software.
• Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS) or SCADA environments.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices within an OT (Operational Technology) context.
• Certifications in ITIL, PMP, or other relevant project management or service delivery frameworks.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and how IT can support their implementation.
