Summary

Join our team as a BI Developer / Semantic Layer Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing enterprise reporting solutions within a dynamic data ecosystem. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the transition from legacy systems to modern analytics tools.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and enhance the enterprise semantic layer to ensure consistency and scalability across reporting platforms.
  • Develop and support Power BI datasets, dashboards, and data models to meet business needs.
  • Create advanced DAX calculations and reporting solutions to support key performance indicators.
  • Maintain and improve existing Tableau dashboards while facilitating migration to Power BI.
  • Interpret and support legacy SAS-based reporting solutions during modernization efforts.
  • Optimize data queries and models within Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery environments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient reporting solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, security, and healthcare reporting standards.
Skills
  • Extensive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and reporting roles.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX development, data modeling, and performance tuning.
  • Strong skills in Tableau for supporting and modernizing complex dashboards.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and experience with large-scale data environments.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, and cloud-based analytics.
  • Knowledge of healthcare reporting requirements and security considerations.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with large-scale BI modernization or platform migration projects.
  • Knowledge of Python or R for data analytics and preparation.
  • Understanding of enterprise data governance and metadata management.
  • Experience in supporting self-service analytics and semantic model governance.
