Finance Transformation Program Leader

Job Title: Finance Transformation Program Leader (CFO-Facing Role)

Location: Detroit, MI | Oracle EBS & Fusion ERP

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Finance Transformation Leader with strong CFO-level strategic experience to lead enterprise-wide ERP-driven finance transformation initiatives. This role will drive modernization of finance operations, standardization of processes, and implementation of scalable digital finance platforms aligned with business strategy.

The ideal candidate will partner with executive leadership to design and execute transformation roadmaps across Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, and Enterprise Reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

• Lead enterprise-wide finance transformation strategy aligned with organizational goals and CFO vision.
• Define and execute ERP transformation roadmap across finance and adjacent business functions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on financial systems modernization.
• Drive operating model redesign supporting shared services and global process harmonization.

ERP Transformation Delivery

• Lead implementation of large-scale ERP platforms (Oracle, SAP, or similar) across finance functions.
• Oversee transformation initiatives across:
  • General Ledger
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Fixed Assets
  • Project Accounting
  • Revenue Management
  • Financial Consolidations
• Ensure alignment between finance processes and enterprise data strategy.

Business Process Optimization

• Standardize global finance processes across regions and business units.
• Implement automation and digital tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Establish best practices for Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash cycles.
• Drive adoption of shared services and centers of excellence.

Stakeholder & Executive Engagement

• Partner closely with CFO, CIO, and business leadership.
• Lead steering committees and executive governance forums.
• Manage cross-functional alignment between Finance, IT, and Operations teams.
• Drive organizational change management and transformation adoption.

Data, Reporting & Controls

• Strengthen enterprise financial reporting and analytics capabilities.
• Improve real-time visibility into financial performance and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Enable data-driven decision-making through modern reporting platforms.

Required Qualifications

• 12–18+ years of experience in Finance Transformation and ERP programs
• Proven experience working closely with CFO-level stakeholders
• Strong background leading enterprise ERP implementations
• Deep knowledge of finance process frameworks:
  • Record-to-Report (R2R)
  • Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
  • Order-to-Cash (O2C)
• Experience managing global transformation programs
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams across Finance and IT
