Description: Our client is currently seeking a Autonomous Fleet Health Maintenance Lead

    Job Overview
    In this role, you will support maintenance practices for autonomous mining equipment by guiding teams, developing standardized processes, and using data-driven methods to improve equipment reliability. You will work closely with maintenance, operations, OEM partners, and reliability engineering teams to analyze data, investigate root causes, and enhance equipment performance.

    Responsibilities
    • Work with a multidisciplinary team to define and improve maintenance practices for autonomous mining equipment.
    • Provide mentorship on maintenance processes, technology, and specifications.
    • Develop and implement standardized maintenance templates, workflows, and reporting protocols.
    • Use predictive maintenance strategies and data analytics to support proactive work planning and equipment reliability.
    • Serve as a technical expert in maintenance systems and computerized tools to support machine health analysis.
    • Lead cross-functional projects to improve equipment uptime through data analysis, root cause investigations, and rebuild planning.
    • Review maintenance documentation related to equipment, on-board systems, office software, and networking to identify issues.
    • Identify root causes of maintenance or production problems and coordinate corrective actions.
    • Collaborate with planners and operations on critical maintenance activities and scheduling.
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for autonomous equipment and monitor health indicators through data analysis.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 5 years of mining experience; or
    • Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 3 years of related engineering experience; or
    • High school diploma/GED and 7 years of experience in data analytics within mining, heavy industry, or autonomous systems.
    • Ability to interpret large datasets from mobile mining equipment (telemetry, sensor data, maintenance logs).
    • Ability to create clear documentation, reports, and dashboards aligned with operational goals.
    • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment.
    • Familiarity with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles.
    • Proficiency with Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Foundational knowledge of mine operations.
    • Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification.
    • AWS Certified Data Analytics certification.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Data Science or Computer Science.
    • Experience with autonomous haulage systems (AHS), fleet management systems, or industrial IoT platforms.
    • Experience with mobile maintenance and planning.
    • Experience with CAT MineStar applications and autonomous mining technologies.
    • Certifications in Master Data Management.
    • Experience with AI applications, automated reporting, and advanced analytics.
    • Strong understanding of machine learning, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics.
    • Ability to lead cross-functional projects involving operations, maintenance, and technology teams.
