You will leverage your expertise in Varicent development, data management, reporting, and automation to build scalable solutions that support complex compensation plans. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, deep experience with incentive compensation systems, and a proven ability to work across the full software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain Varicent Incentive Compensation solutions.
  • Build and support data integration processes that load compensation, sales, and performance data into Varicent.
  • Develop and optimize compensation calculation models, business rules, and payout logic.
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics that enable business stakeholders to monitor compensation performance.
  • Configure and support workflow processes for compensation administration, approvals, and tracking.
  • Manage scheduler jobs and automated processes supporting recurring compensation cycles.
  • Develop and maintain Python-based automation solutions for integrations, data transformations, and operational efficiencies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data quality, calculation, reporting, and system performance issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to deliver enhancements and production support.
  • Support compensation cycle execution, payout validation, reconciliation, and ongoing platform maintenance.
  • Consult on complex technical initiatives, contributing to strategic planning, solution design, and delivery execution.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience developing and configuring Varicent Incentive Compensation solutions.
  • 5 years of experience designing and supporting enterprise software applications.
  • 5 years of experience working within Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Experience with SQL and data management, reporting, and query tools.
  • Experience supporting Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) platforms and business processes.
  • Experience with:

  • Knowledge of commission, bonus, incentive, or sales compensation administration.
  • Experience with compensation reconciliation, audit support, controls, and data validation processes.
  • Experience operating in highly regulated environments requiring strong governance, change management, and auditability.
  • Experience within Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, or similarly regulated industries.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive solutions across technical and business teams.
Preferred Candidate Profile

The strongest candidates will demonstrate deep expertise in leveraging Varicent to support end-to-end incentive compensation operations, including:
  • Data imports and integrations
  • Compensation calculations and business rule configuration
  • Reporting and analytics development
  • Workflow administration
  • Scheduler management
  • Python-based automation

Industry experience in Banking or Financial Services is beneficial but not required. Candidates from any industry will be considered if they possess strong Varicent development expertise and a successful track record supporting incentive compensation programs at scale.
