Remote/Local Law Enforcement System .Net Developer with C#, ASP.Net, switch environment/dispatch/communications/public safety system, SQL Server, web services experience

Location: Columbia, SC (SLED)
Duration: 12 Months
Candidate location: Candidate must be a CURRENT SC resident. No relocation allowed. Work Location: Role is Remote aside from potential quarterly travel to the SLED Office for project milestones in addition to coming onsite on the first day of employment to receive equipment.

Required Skills (Rank in order of Importance):
1. 5+ Years of Experience Developing .Net Solutions using C#, ASP.NET, XML, Java Script
2. Experience with law enforcement switch environments, including dispatch, communications, or public safety systems.
3. 5+ Years of Experience with SQL Server development

Additional Skills:
All Candidates submitted must be able to pass all background checks listed above.

Required Education:
Bachelor s Degree may be substituted for 4 years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills (Rank in order of Importance):
1. Experience working directly for a Government Agency with Enterprise Level Platforms.

Scope of the project:
Lead the design and delivery of a law enforcement switch project supporting secure, real-time data exchange.
Plan and execute project phases including requirements, development, testing, and deployment.
Manage integration between applications and law enforcement databases for seamless interoperability.
Ensure project deliverables meet performance, security, and compliance standards.
Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
Establish and enforce development standards and best practices within the project team.
Monitor project progress, timelines, risks, and dependencies, and provide mitigation strategies.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers to ensure successful project execution.
Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to support project goals.
Deliver regular status reports and updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Review project deliverables for quality, completeness, and adherence to requirements
Support continuous improvement and perform additional project-related duties as needed.

Develop .NET-based solutions using C#, ASP.NET, XML, JavaScript, and web services aligned with project scope.
Oversee SQL Server development including complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, and data optimization.
Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure alignment with public safety objectives.
