RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an OnCore Technical Analyst in Boston, MA. This role will support the Encore application by handling technical tickets, focusing on reporting, troubleshooting, and acting as a liaison between users, vendors, and internal teams.
Key Tasks:
* Manage technical support tickets, primarily related to reporting and application errors
* Create and modify reports using SQL and BI tools (preferably Jaspersoft; Experience with other BI/reporting tools acceptable)
* Export ad hoc reports from Encore database using SQL and Excel
* Investigate application errors by reviewing Oncore and server logs; Basic Linux command line usage preferred
* Address performance issues, coordinate with Oncore vendor (Advara) and internal database team for troubleshooting
* Attend weekly support meetings and work Eastern hours, remote work possible with flexibility for occasional travel if needed
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience with Oncore preferred; Jaspersoft or other BI/reporting tools desirable
* 3-5 years of relevant experience (mid-level)
* Proficiency in SQL; Oracle/PL-SQL experience is a plus
* Comfortable with basic Linux command line operations
* Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
* Scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) is a nice-to-have, not required
* Experience with SAML/identity providers is a bonus, not required
Additional Information:
* Expected workload: up to 5-6 tickets daily, some may take multiple days to resolve
* Initial contract is likely for 6 months, with high probability of extension (potentially 1-2 years)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
