JDE CNC Administrator

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a JD Edwards CNC Administrator in Armonk, NY.

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards CNC Administrator to provide day-to-day system administration, technical operations, and production support for a legacy, highly customized JD Edwards environment. This role is critical to maintaining system availability, performance, and security across development, test, and production environments while coordinating closely with functional analysts, developers, DBAs, and infrastructure teams. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in a -keep-the-lights-on- support model, navigating older toolsets and custom configurations, and ensuring stability in an environment where documentation may be incomplete and risk tolerance is low.

Roles and Responsibilities:
JDE System Administration:
* Administer and maintain JD Edwards environments (Development, Test, Production), ensuring system availability and operational stability
* Manage server configurations, database connections, middleware, and environment settings across JDE components
* Maintain JDE architecture components including Deployment Server, Enterprise Server, Web/HTML Server, and Server Manager

Package Management, Builds & Deployments:
* Build, deploy, and migrate JDE packages and custom objects across environments
* Coordinate with development teams to promote changes using OMW, ensuring proper version control and deployment sequencing
* Support the application of ESUs, tools releases, and patches, particularly in legacy footprints

Monitoring, Performance & Troubleshooting:
* Monitor system health, logs, and performance metrics; proactively identify and remediate issues
* Troubleshoot batch jobs, services, kernel issues, and environment failures impacting business operations
* Partner with infrastructure and database teams to resolve OS, database, and network-related issues

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong hands-on experience as a JD Edwards CNC Administrator supporting production ERP environments
* Deep knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne architecture and CNC tools
* Experience with Server Manager, Deployment Server, WebLogic, and core JDE infrastructure components
* Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-layer issues in legacy and customized environments
* Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively with functional, technical, and infrastructure teams

Preferred/Nice-to-Have:
* Experience supporting older JDE versions (e.g., XE/8.x/early 9.x) in long-running production environments
* Familiarity with SQL databases, Windows/Linux/UNIX platforms, and cloud-hosted JDE infrastructure
* Exposure to automation, orchestration, or scheduling tools used with JDE batch and integration processing

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
