JDE Distribution Functional Consultant

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a JD Edwards Distribution Functional Consultant in Armonk, NY.

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards Distribution Functional Consultant to support and enhance a legacy, highly customized JDE environment with a focus on Distribution and Supply Chain processes. This role provides hands on production support for business-critical workflows while partnering with business users, developers, and CNC administrators to stabilize operations, resolve issues, and deliver incremental improvements. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in a production support (-keep the lights on-) model, navigating customizations and older configurations, and clearly separating functional process issues from technical system issues.

Key Responsibilities:
Distribution & Supply Chain Functional Support:
* Serve as the functional SME for JD Edwards Distribution modules, including Inventory Management, Procurement (Purchasing), and Sales Order Management
* Provide day-to-day production support, including incident triage, impact analysis, root cause identification, and resolution coordination
* Troubleshoot end to end order to cash and procure to pay flows across JDE Distribution processes

Business Partnership & Functional Analysis:
* Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements related to distribution and logistics operations
* Translate business needs into functional specifications for system fixes, enhancements, and configuration changes
* Perform gap analysis between current state processes, customizations, and desired outcomes

Configuration, Testing & Enhancements:
* Support and maintain functional configurations within JDE Distribution modules in alignment with existing custom solutions
* Develop test scripts, execute system and integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for fixes and enhancements

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong hands-on experience as a JD Edwards Functional Consultant with a Distribution/Supply Chain focus
* Deep functional knowledge of Inventory, Procurement, and Sales Order Management within JD Edwards
* Proven experience supporting production environments and resolving functional issues in ERP systems
* Ability to analyze complex processes, document requirements, and communicate clearly with business and technical teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
