Work Schedule: Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week (Monday Friday)
Employment Type: Contract (1099/C2C)

Position Overview

Enterprise Services (OMES), Finance Center of Excellence (FCoE), is seeking experienced Application Developers/Programmers to support and enhance the statewide PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 environment. The selected consultants will serve as key members of the FCoE Core Team, supporting ongoing modernization initiatives, production support, module implementations, upgrades, and enhancement projects across multiple state agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and functional support for PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 (PUM 53) applications.

  • Support implementation, configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of statewide financial modules.

  • Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications and system solutions.

  • Develop and maintain PeopleSoft customizations, integrations, workflows, and reports.

  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, System Analysts, System Integrators, Oracle Support, and agency stakeholders.

  • Prepare and execute test plans, test scripts, training materials, and configuration documentation.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

  • Support Financials PUM upgrades, patch testing, and PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) maintenance.

  • Develop and update SOPs, job aids, manuals, and technical documentation.

  • Identify project risks and provide recommendations to leadership teams.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience with PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 (PUM 53).

  • Expertise in the following PeopleSoft modules:

    • Grants

    • Project Costing

    • Contracts

    • Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Billing

    • Accounts Payable (AP)

    • Travel & Expense (T&E)

    • Treasury

    • General Ledger (GL)

    • Commitment Control

    • Asset Management

  • Experience supporting PeopleSoft implementation and production environments.

  • Strong understanding of financial business processes and accounting workflows.

  • Ability to work directly with business users and technical teams.

  • Experience documenting workflow requirements, fit-gap analysis, and solution design.

Technical Requirements

Proficiency with:

  • PeopleCode

  • Application Engine

  • SQR

  • Component Interfaces

  • PeopleTools

  • SQL Developer

  • BI Publisher

  • PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous State Government experience.

  • Experience working with the State of Oklahoma.

  • Experience with current PeopleSoft Financials PUM Images and upgrades.

  • Knowledge of public sector accounting policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

  • Production support and issue resolution.

  • Project plans and implementation documentation.

  • Fit-gap analysis documents.

  • Test scripts and test result documentation.

  • Training guides and user documentation.

  • Technical configuration and setup documentation.

  • Successful project completion and stakeholder sign-off.
