Job Description:We are looking for a seasoned Microsoft 365 Senior Engineer to join a dynamic enterprise environment in San Jose. This is a hands-on technical role covering the full M365 stack from implementation and migration to ongoing maintenance and support. You will be the go-to expert for everything Microsoft 365, working directly with IT leadership and business stakeholders to keep the environment running at peak performance.

What You ll Be Doing
Lead implementation, upgrades, and configuration of the full Microsoft 365 suite including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Intune
Manage and maintain hybrid Exchange environments and Azure AD / Entra ID identity infrastructure
Execute tenant migrations and on-premise to cloud transitions with minimal business disruption
Administer Azure AD Connect, conditional access policies, MFA, and SSO configurations
Implement and maintain security and compliance controls using Microsoft Purview, Defender for O365, and DLP policies
Automate administrative tasks and reporting using PowerShell
Troubleshoot complex issues across mail flow, authentication, replication, and sync
Manage licensing, service health monitoring, and capacity planning
Document architecture, configurations, and operational procedures
Provide Tier 3 escalation support to internal teams
What We re Looking For
Must Have:
12+ years of experience in Microsoft infrastructure with strong O365/M365 focus
Deep hands-on expertise in Exchange Online and hybrid Exchange configuration
Strong SharePoint Online administration architecture, governance, permissions
Microsoft Teams deployment and governance experience
Azure AD / Entra ID conditional access, MFA, SSO, AD Connect
Microsoft Intune MDM/MAM device management
PowerShell scripting for automation and administration
Proven experience leading O365 migrations and implementations
Strong troubleshooting skills across the full M365 stack
Nice to Have:
Microsoft certifications (MS-100, MS-101, MS-203, MS-700)
Microsoft Purview and Defender for O365 experience
Teams Phone System / Voice configuration
Large-scale migration experience (5,000+ users)
