Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications and microservices using Java and JSF.
- Support ongoing maintenance and operations activities, troubleshoot application issues, and help ensure system stability.
- Perform system integration activities, diagnose and resolve API-related issues, and support reliable communication between applications.
- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to resolve issues, coordinate support activities, and communicate technical findings effectively.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

|
Experience
|
Experience in backend application development, microservices design and development, system integration, API troubleshooting, and application maintenance and operations. TSS project experience is preferred.

|
Technical Skills
|
Java, JavaServer Faces (JSF), Backend Development, Microservices Architecture, Microservices Development, REST APIs, System Integration, API Troubleshooting, Application Maintenance, Production Support

|
Business / Domain Skills
|
- Experience supporting State government technology systems, including enterprise application maintenance, production operations, enhancements, and support for business-critical services.
- Experience designing, developing, enhancing, and integrating enterprise applications, APIs, interfaces, workflows, batch processes, and data-processing components supporting government programs.
- Experience supporting TSS or comparable government enterprise environments, including system integration, API troubleshooting, data exchange, and resolution of application interoperability issues.
- Experience collaborating with state agency stakeholders, technical teams, and operations personnel to resolve production incidents, coordinate application changes, maintain technical documentation, and ensure reliable service delivery.
