OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Design & Test Engineer to support the design, development, analysis, and integration of electronic hardware within a multidisciplinary engineering environment. This role involves hands-on work with electrical design tools, test equipment, schematic capture, and troubleshooting across digital, analog, RF, and mixed-signal systems.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant engineering experience (or 3+ years with an advanced degree)
- Experience with electrical engineering design, including troubleshooting, analysis, and test
- Hands-on proficiency with electrical design and analysis tools, including (but not limited to):
- Altium Designer
- DxDesigner
- Mentor Capital
- Creo Schematic
- Experience using commonly used test equipment, including:
- Oscilloscopes
- Digital multimeters (DMMs)
- Network analyzers
- Power meters
- Experience performing schematic capture and interpreting complex electrical schematics
- Active Secret clearance required prior to start
Preferred Qualifications- Master's degree in STEM (ABET-accredited institution preferred)
- Experience providing technical leadership within a multidisciplinary engineering team
- Experience performing analog, digital, and/or RF design
- Experience designing, testing, or integrating digital, mixed-signal, or electrical interconnect systems
- Experience using integrated development environments and debugging tools to troubleshoot software
- Strong self-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines independently
- Experience working in highly collaborative team environments
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills
- Experience leading single- or multi-discipline engineering teams
- Project management experience
- Experience supporting bids and proposals, including BOE and SOW contributions
- Knowledge of computer architecture and hardware optimization methods
- Experience developing or working with programming languages for engineering applications
- Ability to adapt existing designs to support new Units Under Test (UUTs)
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities
