Electrical Design & Test Engineer

Clearance Required: Active Secret (required prior to start)

Work Schedule: 9/80

Location: Onsite

Education: Bachelor's degree in STEM required
Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design & Test Engineer to support the design, development, analysis, and integration of electronic hardware within a multidisciplinary engineering environment. This role involves hands-on work with electrical design tools, test equipment, schematic capture, and troubleshooting across digital, analog, RF, and mixed-signal systems.
Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant engineering experience (or 3+ years with an advanced degree)
• Experience with electrical engineering design, including troubleshooting, analysis, and test
• Hands-on proficiency with electrical design and analysis tools, including (but not limited to):
  • Altium Designer
  • DxDesigner
  • Mentor Capital
  • Creo Schematic
• Experience using commonly used test equipment, including:
  • Oscilloscopes
  • Digital multimeters (DMMs)
  • Network analyzers
  • Power meters
• Experience performing schematic capture and interpreting complex electrical schematics
• Active Secret clearance required prior to start

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in STEM (ABET-accredited institution preferred)
• Experience providing technical leadership within a multidisciplinary engineering team
• Experience performing analog, digital, and/or RF design
• Experience designing, testing, or integrating digital, mixed-signal, or electrical interconnect systems
• Experience using integrated development environments and debugging tools to troubleshoot software
• Strong self-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines independently
• Experience working in highly collaborative team environments
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills
• Experience leading single- or multi-discipline engineering teams
• Project management experience
• Experience supporting bids and proposals, including BOE and SOW contributions
• Knowledge of computer architecture and hardware optimization methods
• Experience developing or working with programming languages for engineering applications
• Ability to adapt existing designs to support new Units Under Test (UUTs)
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities
