Position OverviewOur client is seeking a detail-oriented Network Performance Engineer to join our federal client's infrastructure team. This person will be responsible for ensuring high availability, security, and top-tier performance across a global network architecture using advanced monitoring and analysis tools.
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Public Trust clearance as a condition and continuation of employment
Key Responsibilities- Network Visibility & Analysis: Utilize Riverbed Steelhead suite for network flow analysis and proactive monitoring.
- Performance Optimization: Use AppResponse and NetProfiler to identify bottlenecks and enhance application delivery.
- Security Implementation: Manage and maintain SASE architectures (e.g., Netskope, Zscaler).
- Infrastructure Support: Troubleshoot and maintain Juniper and Cisco network hardware.
- Continuous Improvement: Provide reporting and insights using NetScout and NetIM.
Qualifications- Riverbed Steelhead Central (2+ years) including:
- AppResponse ARX
- NetIM
- NetProfiler
- Hands-on experience with Network Flow Analysis and monitoring
- SASE (1+ year): Netskope, Zscaler, or similar platforms
Preferred Experience- Juniper Networking (2+ years)
- Cisco Networking (2+ years)
- NetScout (2+ years)
