Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior ETRM Business Analyst to provide application support for critical commercial trading platforms. This role is focused on run-and-maintain activities and minor enhancements, not project management. The position is a platform specialist role focusing on Triple Point for Gas & Power. The successful candidate will partner with trading and operations users while coordinating work with an offshore support team.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the onsite ETRM Business Analyst for the Triple Point platform.
- Provide day-to-day application support for trading, operations, and accounting users.
- Own run-and-maintain activities, including ticket intake, triage, and prioritization.
- Troubleshoot functional issues across the ETRM lifecycle and support month-end processing.
- Break down work and assign tasks to offshore ETRM analysts.
- Manage daily handoffs across time zones and validate completed work.
- Coordinate the backlog, defects, and minor enhancements using Jira.
- Maintain functional documentation and operational knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Triple Point platform.
- Prior experience in a production support or application support environment.
- Understanding of trading and supply business processes.
- Experience with ticketing systems, defect tracking, and release coordination.
- Ability to prioritize work based on business impact.
- Experience collaborating with offshore or distributed teams.
- Must be able to work onsite in Houston five days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Openlink Endur.
- SQL or data-level troubleshooting experience.
- Experience acting as a team lead for other analysts.
- Background in oil and gas, energy trading, or commodities.
