Salary Range: $73,000 - $110,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Portage that are seeking Test Engineers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for manufacturing processes and products.
• Design and build test fixtures and automated test equipment.
• Analyze test data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure testability and quality.
• Document test procedures, results, and defect reports.
• Perform Gage R&R studies and maintain calibration of test equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in test engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing automated test systems (ATE) and writing test scripts (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, C#).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA).
• Experience with various test equipment and instrumentation (e.g., oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, data acquisition systems).
• Ability to analyze test data, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive root cause analysis for product and process defects.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Python or other scripting languages for test automation.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or other quality methodologies.
• Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
• Knowledge of data acquisition systems and sensor technologies.
