Salary Range: $77,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for manufacturing processes and products.
• Design, build, and maintain test fixtures and automated test equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve product defects.
• Analyze test data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for process improvement.
• Document test procedures, results, and bug reports thoroughly.
• Participate in design reviews to ensure testability and quality of new products.
• Implement and maintain quality control standards for manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in test engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing automated test systems using languages like Python, LabVIEW, or C#.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and statistical process control (SPC).
• Experience with test fixture design, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
• Ability to analyze test data, troubleshoot failures, and implement corrective actions to improve product quality and test efficiency.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Python scripting for test automation.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• ISTQB Certification (Foundation Level or higher).
• Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
• Understanding of various communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
