Salary Range: $72,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Otsego seeking Test Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans for manufacturing processes and products.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for production lines.
• Analyze test data and generate reports to identify product defects and process inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Validate and verify the performance and reliability of new manufacturing equipment and software.
• Document test procedures, results, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Participate in root cause analysis for production failures and customer returns.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in test engineering within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficiency in developing and debugging automated test scripts using languages like Python, C#, or LabVIEW.
• Strong understanding of sensor technologies, data acquisition systems, and industrial control systems.
• Experience with test fixture design, build, and validation.
• Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis for identifying trends and anomalies.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with a scripting language (Python, PowerShell, etc.) for test automation or data analysis.
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., JMP, Minitab, Tableau) for interpreting test results.
• Understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and its application in manufacturing test.
• Knowledge of hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) for managing test code and configurations.
