Salary Range: $78,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Wayland that are seeking Test Engineers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for manufacturing processes and products.
• Design and build test fixtures and automated test equipment.
• Analyze test data and generate reports on product performance and manufacturing quality.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to identify and resolve product and process defects.
• Perform root cause analysis on failed tests and production issues.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures throughout the testing lifecycle.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in test engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing automated test systems using scripting languages (e.g., Python, LabVIEW) and test executive software.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control methodologies, and industry test standards.
• Experience with data analysis and statistical process control (SPC) for test result interpretation and process improvement.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for test automation.
• Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis techniques.
• Certifications in quality assurance (e.g., ASQ CQE, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt).
