StaffRight Associates is sourcing for an elite talent for a premier New York-based drug discovery and computational biochemistry research firm. We are seeking an exceptional Information Security Engineer – Agentic AI to join a highly collaborative, intellectually rigorous team where computational excellence is the standard.

This is a high-impact position designed for a driven problem-solver who thrives at the intersection of complex architecture, advanced security automation, and real-world execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect & Build: Design, optimize, and maintain critical security processes, automated workflows, and threat mitigation systems.

  • Data & Research Execution: Translate complex security logs and technical challenges into clear, scalable, high-performance security frameworks, with a core focus on securing Agentic AI processes.

  • Systemic Optimization: Identify technical friction points, evaluate and eliminate vulnerabilities, and manage endpoint detection and response across high-concurrency environments.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a key technical interface, working directly with computational researchers, software engineers, and leadership to maintain robust DevSecOps practices.

What You Bring:

  • Academic Pedigree: Bachelor''s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Information Security, or a related STEM discipline.

  • Technical Mastery: Strong command of core technical concepts and tools such as DevSecOps, Threat Detection And Response, Vulnerability Management, Penetration Testing, Common Attack Vectors, Endpoint Detection And Response, Security Tool Deployment, Agentic AI Systems And Workflows, and Advanced Scripting Ability.

  • Analytical Precision: Proven track record of solving multi-faceted problems in high-performance computing, automated security pipelines, or complex technology sectors.

  • Agile Mindset: Ability to balance rigorous engineering standards with fast-paced, autonomous execution under pressure, supported by excellent communication skills.

Compensation & Schedule:

  • Base Salary Range: $250,000 – $800,000 per year, plus variable compensation (Sign-On and Year-End Bonuses), comprehensive benefits, and relocation assistance.

  • Work Model: Hybrid schedule (In Office Tuesday through Thursday; option to work from home Monday and Friday).
