Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Architect to support the launch of targeted AI capabilities for the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the platform for enterprise agents. This role is responsible for defining an architectural vision and solution architecture for the AI domain. The position ensures the solution is fit for purpose and use by working with stakeholders and evaluating the impact of strategic design decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define an architectural vision and solution architecture for the AI domain in alignment with enterprise strategy.
- Describe the solution intent, associated operating environment, and evaluate system impacts.
- Determine primary systems, subsystems, and their interfaces, assisting with end-to-end solution design.
- Define non-functional requirements and architectural runway to support new features.
- Follow internal governance processes to ensure compliance and quality.
- Improve the developer experience by making it easier to deliver solutions while managing work efficiently.
- Provide clear, concise technical guidance to delivery partners and communicate status to program management.
- Perform hands-on proof-of-concept work to assess the applicability of new technologies and patterns.
Required Qualifications
- Broad and deep expertise with developer tooling, especially IDEs from vendors such as Microsoft, Eclipse, and JetBrains.
- Experience designing solutions across varied software development platforms, including GitHub CoPilot and Microsoft CoPilot Studio (low-code and pro-code).
- Proven ability as a strong, independent technical leader requiring minimal oversight, with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Design and/or development experience with complex, integrated, high-volume applications for resiliency and performance.
- Knowledge of security aspects of integrated system design and associated protocols, such as AAA and token-based authentication.
- Process expertise across the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements, build, test, deploy, release, and operate.
Preferred Qualifications
- Production-level experience with tools like Claude Code and Devin.
- Experience with agile methodologies, routines, and tools.
