Role: Systems analyst (financial services/ broker)

The focus of this position will entail driving the technical analysis to modernize a diverse suite of applications that support our intermediary (correspondent and advisor) business! The systems analyst will collaborate extensively with partners across various teams, product areas and domains. They will be key members of an engineering team within FI Technology and will be actively involved in all aspects of the product delivery. The individual will need to gain a deep understanding of our existing capabilities and products to assist with the requirements and design of modernized solutions.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
• 5+ years of Systems Analysis experience within the IT field, financial services, or related environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience working in a complex environment with multiple applications, patterns and integrations
• Relevant experience in various systems analysis methodologies, including data analysis, data mapping, systems feasibility and impact analysis, flowcharts, uses case development, story mapping & writing, set-up/configuration of systems, gap analysis, user acceptance testing and documentation
• Experience of API Development, Cloud (AWS), Data Design, Batch, Event Processing and Workflow/Process Automation is strongly preferred
• Strong analytical, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Experience in Agile methodologies is expected
• Ability to produce in a highly matrixed environment, involving multiple partners, technical groups, and COEs
• Demonstrated ability to work across multi-functional teams
• Technical problem solver, who can work in a demanding, fast-paced environment, engaging, collaborating and supporting capabilities across teams
• Proactive contributor to a highly functioning team, meticulous and understands how systems applications can provide solutions to business problems and objectives.
• Knowledge of the financial services industry preferred, attained through training and application experience.
• Exposure to test automation and quality practices
• Good interpersonal skills including negotiation, communication, leadership, and influence.
• Adaptable and agile, can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines and make project adjustments to effectively prioritize and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Successfully take the lead on issues, and gain resolution in a timely manner.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to guide, mentor, and motivate engineers and analysts
• Passion and intellectual curiosity to learn new technologies and business areas
