Only W2 Job Overview: In this contingent resource assignment, the Scrum Master will consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Scrum or Agile frameworks. The role involves contributing to large-scale planning, analyzing challenges, and resolving issues while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. The Scrum Master will collaborate with client personnel and demonstrate strong leadership, influence, and the ability to escalate risks and impediments effectively.
Responsibilities: - Facilitate the scrum process on teams with cross-functional impact involving software and non-software development work.
- Guide teams to follow Agile and Scrum practices, promoting prioritization, team readiness, and sprint commitment.
- Use empirical data to assess Scrum maturity, optimize team velocity, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Proactively address systemic impediments and guide teams on escalation methods to prevent blockers.
- Coach teams to deliver capabilities using Agile practices while adhering to SDLC, business process mapping, and release processes.
- Partner with Agile transformation leaders to address governance policies and corporate standards.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure continuous backlog refinement.
- Drive Scrum adoption across all organizational levels.
- Facilitate and own Scrum or Kanban Agile ceremonies for the teams.
- Actively drive resolution of team impediments, cross-team dependencies, and delivery risks.
- Identify, assess, and escalate risks early, ensuring leadership visibility into potential impacts.
- Maintain a strong leadership presence during ceremonies and stakeholder interactions.
Qualifications: - 6 years of Agile Scrum Master experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 4 years of experience with Scaled Agile methodologies or Large-Scale Scrum Framework (LeSS).
- Scrum Master certification or other advanced Agile certification (preferred).
- Knowledge of Agile operational metrics such as Velocity, Predictability, and Sprint burn-downs.
- 5 years of experience in Kanban.
- Experience transitioning teams and organizations from Waterfall to Agile methodologies.
- Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships.
- Strong understanding of SDLC best practices and the ability to push back when necessary.
- Demonstrated coaching stance to bring influence and drive outcomes.
- Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence.

Pay Range: $55 - $60
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
