Job Overview:
The Information Security Engineer 4 - Contingent will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Information Security Engineering. This role involves reviewing and analyzing multifaceted, larger-scale, or longer-term Information Security Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented elements. The position contributes to resolving complex situations while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and deliverables. Strategic collaboration and consultation with client personnel are integral to this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Information Security Engineering.
  • Review and analyze multifaceted Information Security Engineering challenges.
  • Contribute to resolving complex situations requiring solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
  • Support migration from Prisma Cloud Enterprise to Wiz CNAPP tool, focusing on Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM).
  • Engineer and support Public Cloud misconfiguration and configuration drift detective scanning.
  • Develop Rego Policy as Code for monitoring cloud resource misconfiguration/configuration drift.
  • Act as SME for Wiz capabilities, roadmap features, and best practices specific to CSPM.
  • Enable and tune Wiz detection for public cloud misconfiguration and configuration drift.
  • Transform security requirements into Rego policies for Wiz CSPM.
  • Collaborate with teammates, vendors, and partners to ensure policy development automation success.
  • Lead technical requirement discussions and design complex solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve support escalation cases related to Wiz CSPM.
  • Contribute to internal code repositories to improve code quality.
  • Provide high-quality documentation of delivered solutions.
  • Train team members on PaC semi-automation tooling and policy development practices.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with aggressive deadlines.
  • Collaborate with virtual teams across various locations.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of intermediate to advanced experience with Terraform/automation.
  • 2+ years of practical experience with Azure & Google public cloud platforms.
  • 1+ year of experience with Resource Query Language (RQL) and/or Rego policy development.
  • Experience with REST API endpoints for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Advanced experience with Python programming/automation.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to handle multiple high-priority deliverables concurrently.
  • Experience with Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies.

Desired Skills:
  • 1+ year of deep Wiz experience in engineering or support roles.
  • Advanced experience with Rego policy automation.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps and deployment automation to cloud environments.
  • Expertise with API-driven automation of policy creation.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Policy as Code (PaC) concepts/tools.
  • Expertise with automated testing.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Kubernetes (AKS/GKE/OCP).
  • Familiarity with cloud security and risk frameworks (CSA, CIS, NIST).
  • Experience with change and incident management practices in large enterprises.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CCSK.
  • Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud certifications.

Pay Range: $75-80$
