Description
We are looking for an experienced Application Support Specialist to manage and maintain a suite of Microsoft-based enterprise applications. This contract-to-permanent position is based in Lowell, Massachusetts, and offers the opportunity to work on diverse systems while collaborating with internal teams to enhance application performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system integrations, troubleshooting, and user access management.
Responsibilities:
Deliver Tier II support for a variety of Microsoft-based business applications, ensuring quick and effective resolution of issues.
Administer and troubleshoot user authentication and configurations within Okta, maintaining secure access across systems.
Facilitate integrations between internal platforms and third-party systems, ensuring seamless functionality.
Utilize SQL to query databases, troubleshoot issues, and validate data integrity without engaging in development activities.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and resolve application performance issues.
Monitor and support various software applications, ensuring they operate efficiently.
Maintain Active Directory configurations and permissions to support enterprise operations.
Provide technical guidance on Dell and Cisco technologies, ensuring hardware compatibility with supported applications.
Contribute to system upgrades and application enhancements to optimize user experience.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting business applications within a Microsoft-centric environment.
Proficiency in Okta for user authentication, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of SQL for querying, troubleshooting, and validating data.
Hands-on experience with Active Directory and integrated system support.
Familiarity with Dell and Cisco technologies, particularly in relation to computer hardware.
Ability to troubleshoot and support system integrations effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
Experience managing application performance and resolving system issues.
