Job Summary

We are seeking a well-rounded UX/UI Product Designer or Interaction Designer to support a new business unit focused on the medical division. The ideal candidate will have end-to-end product design experience, strong expertise in building and refining design systems, and the ability to simplify complex workflows across multiple products and platforms.

This role will focus on developing a unified design system for healthcare professionals, particularly nurses, while ensuring accessibility, consistency, and compatibility with AI agents and modern front-end technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end UX/UI product design, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and UI design for web and mobile applications.
• Build, maintain, refine, and prepare design systems for implementation, including switches, banners, colors, fonts, components, and other reusable UI elements.
• Develop and improve design system architecture, semantic design tokens, accessibility standards, and code-based governance processes.
• Simplify complex user tasks and workflows while enabling seamless transitions between multiple products and platforms under a unified system.
• Design solutions for complex, data-driven enterprise applications, including auditing workflows and healthcare-related systems.
• Support the development of a consistent and accessible design system tailored to the needs of nurses and other medical professionals.
• Collaborate on the integration of AI agents, ensuring they can effectively consume and utilize design system assets through Figma MCP servers and related tools.
• Apply hands-on experience with AI tools in design and development, with an understanding of how AI tools and agents work.
• Work with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular and supporting tools such as Storybook to ensure design and implementation alignment.
• Contribute to design system governance, including defining and maintaining standards, contribution models, and processes for ongoing improvements.
• Ensure designs meet accessibility requirements, including WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
• Provide a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX/UI design capabilities and experience building or contributing to design systems.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in UX/UI Product Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
• Strong end-to-end product design experience across web and mobile applications.
• Proven ability to build, refine, and maintain design systems from concept through implementation.
• Experience designing complex, data-driven enterprise applications and workflows.
• Ability to simplify complex tasks and bring multiple products and platforms together under a unified design system.
• Hands-on experience with Figma for design and prototyping.
• Practical experience using AI tools in design or development and an understanding of AI agent integration.
• Familiarity with design tokens, reusable components, semantic tokens, and design system governance.
• Understanding of front-end frameworks such as React or Angular and tools such as Storybook.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards, particularly WCAG 2.1 AA.
• A portfolio showcasing relevant UX/UI and design system work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, clinical environments, or other regulated industries.
• Experience working with complex auditing workflows.
• Experience with Figma MCP servers, tools, or similar approaches that enable AI agents to access design system assets.
• Experience with design system governance and contribution models.
• IAAP CPACC, WAS, or other relevant accessibility certifications.
