JOB DESCRIPTION: This position supports a federal cloud engineering program focused on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) within a secure, mission-critical environment. We are seeking a Senior OCI Cloud Consultant to support cloud architecture, engineering, and integration activities across enterprise cloud environments. This role will focus on designing, developing, and enhancing cloud architectures while ensuring the security, scalability, and performance of mission-critical systems secure environments.
The selected candidate will work across engineering and cybersecurity teams to deliver innovative cloud solutions aligned to federal and DoD requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and integrate cloud architecture solutions within OCI environments
Lead engineering efforts to enhance security, scalability, and performance of cloud systems
Apply cybersecurity standards, policies, and best practices within cloud architectures
Support system integration, validation, and deployment across cloud infrastructure
Resolve complex architecture and implementation challenges
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across engineering and mission teams
Develop technical solutions to complex problems and drive innovation
Contribute to continuous improvement of cloud engineering processes and standards

Required Qualifications

Active Secret Clearance required (Active CAC preferred)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, architecture, or related discipline
Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or similar cloud platforms
Strong understanding of cloud architecture, systems engineering lifecycle, and integration
Proven ability to develop solutions to complex technical challenges
Ability to support hybrid environments with occasional onsite requirements

Certifications

DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT Level II certification required
One or more cloud certifications (OCI, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting Air Force Cloud One or similar DoD cloud programs
Familiarity with IL2-IL6 environments
Experience leading engineering teams or architecture initiatives
Exposure to DevOps, automation, or Infrastructure-as-Code tools
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
