Role Description

You will work closely with developers and engineers to support, build, and deliver highly critical distributed platforms that impact millions of users.

Responsibilities

Architect & Facilitate: Lead technical discussions and drive solutions forward to meet business needs while ensuring strict alignment with our strategic technology vision.

Mentor & Elevate: Provide hands-on technical mentoring to engineering teams, driving the adoption of AI-driven development and cloud best practices.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Interact seamlessly with business, technology, and operations support partners to deliver seamless client experiences.

Mitigate Risk: Identify technical gaps and architectural risks early in the lifecycle, establishing proactive mitigation plans.

Optimize Deliverables: Continually strive for improvements in engineering processes, application time-to-market, and overall software quality.

Drive Operational Excellence: Own, operate, and maintain multiple instances of mission-critical services using telemetry and metrics.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Experience: 6+ years of professional software development experience working on distributed systems, cloud platforms, and large-scale enterprise applications.

Core Backend Stack: Proven full-stack development experience utilizing the Microsoft .NET Framework, C#, and .NET Core within a Windows data center environment.

Frontend Stack: Hands-on development experience with Angular, RxJS, TypeScript, and PrimeNG.

Cloud & Infrastructure: Extensive experience working with major cloud platforms (such as Google Cloud Platform/Google Cloud Platform and Pivotal Cloud Foundry/PCF) alongside integration of SOAP and RESTful services.

Data & Messaging: Working knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases (e.g., Aerospike), as well as expertise with enterprise messaging systems like IBM MQ and Kafka.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Industry Domain Expertise: 4-6+ years of experience within the financial services or brokerage industry, with functional knowledge of margin systems, options/futures lifecycles, account violations, and asset-backed lending.

AI & Next-Gen Frameworks: Hands-on expertise with Agentic AI tools and frameworks, with experience operating within an AI-Led Development Lifecycle (AI-DLC).

BPM Integration: Knowledge of application integration with enterprise Business Process Management (BPM) platforms such as Appian.

Agile Leadership: 5+ years of experience navigating large, complex projects with multiple dependencies using Agile (Scrum, Kanban, or Scaled Agile) methodologies, including change and release management.

Soft Skills & Ambiguity: Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder expectations, navigate highly ambiguous environments, prioritize multi-threaded tasks, and lead technical functions across geographically diverse teams.
