Summary

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Medicaid Claims Processing and healthcare systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to analyze business needs, document requirements, evaluate system solutions, and support the delivery of technology initiatives. The candidate should possess strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Medicaid Claims Processing.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience analyzing business objectives, identifying business problems, and recommending alternative solutions.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating user requirements, operational procedures, and business processes to automate workflows and improve existing systems.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience gathering and documenting detailed business and functional requirements, including user needs, program functions, and system modifications.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience performing cost-benefit analysis and evaluating system alternatives.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience analyzing and documenting input/output requirements, data flows, reporting formats, and data processing needs.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience using Azure DevOps for requirements management, backlog tracking, and project collaboration.
  • Experience creating wireframes, process flows, and business documentation.
  • Strong analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams.
  • Knowledge of current Information Technology trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture concepts, principles, frameworks, and tools related to applications, infrastructure, and organizational systems.
  • Knowledge of data integrity, security practices, corporate technology standards, and governance procedures.
  • Experience working within Agile and Scrum software delivery methodologies.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with the Texas Department of Information Resources Project Delivery Framework and associated documentation templates.
  • Familiarity with enterprise information architecture and information management methodologies.
  • Understanding of existing and future software technologies, enterprise architecture strategies, and infrastructure components.
  • Experience supporting large-scale government or healthcare technology initiatives.
