Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Systems Analyst II to support the analysis, design, enhancement, and implementation of enterprise applications. This role will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, document processes, support testing activities, and contribute to successful software solution delivery in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
<>Business Analysis & Requirements Management>
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
- Facilitate discussions with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand business needs.
- Develop and maintain functional specifications, process flows, use cases, wireframes, and acceptance criteria.
- Evaluate current business processes and recommend improvements.
<>System Documentation & Design Support>
- Assist in preparing project documentation and user support materials.
- Document application workflows, system functionality, and implementation approaches.
- Ensure solutions align with organizational standards and best practices.
<>Testing & Quality Assurance>
- Create and execute test plans, test scripts, and test data.
- Perform system and functional testing for new and existing applications.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and support issue resolution activities.
- Validate application quality, performance, and maintainability.
<>Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration>
- Provide project status updates and communicate risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, analysts, and technical teams.
- Present information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Maintain updates within project management and ticketing systems.
<>Knowledge Management & Support>
- Develop and maintain system documentation and knowledge-sharing materials.
- Support training initiatives and knowledge transfer activities.
- Recommend process improvements and implementation strategies.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
- 5+ years of experience supporting Medicaid Claims Processing environments.
- Strong experience gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements.
- Experience evaluating business processes and recommending solution improvements.
- Proven ability to create functional specifications, workflows, and process documentation.
- Experience performing cost-benefit analysis and solution evaluations.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and wireframe development.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum software development environments.
- Understanding of SDLC, application architecture, and system integrations.
- Knowledge of data governance, security standards, and technology best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with project delivery methodologies and standardized documentation frameworks.
- Familiarity with enterprise information architecture and information management practices.
- Knowledge of software architecture and enterprise infrastructure environments.
