Job Overview: This contingent resource assignment involves consulting on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. The role includes reviewing and analyzing multifaceted, larger-scale, or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented elements. The position also involves contributing to the resolution of complex situations, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and deliverables, and strategically collaborating with client personnel.
Responsibilities: - Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
- Review and analyze multifaceted Software Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation.
- Contribute to resolving complex situations while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
- Implement solutions by configuring and customizing scripting for ServiceNow VR products.
- Lead complex technology initiatives with companywide impact and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
- Design, code, configure, unit test, maintain, and document software deliverables using agreed standards and tools.
- Resolve coding, testing, and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature.
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and comply with defined standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with technical experts, senior technology teams, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues.
- Partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively.
- Code ServiceNow solutions within an Agile Framework.
Qualifications: - 5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
- 7+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow Application development, installation, or troubleshooting.
- 5+ years of experience with service-oriented architecture methods and consulting clients on such topics.
- 1+ years of experience with web technologies such as JavaScript, ES5+, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and SQL.
- Certified as a ServiceNow System Administrator and Application Developer.
- Desired qualifications include 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response, certifications as ServiceNow Implementation Specialist for Vulnerability Response, and micro-certifications in Service Portal, ATF, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, etc.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS or React.
- 2+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services experience.
- 2+ years of Agile experience.
- Integration experience with tools like Qualys, Wiz, NVD, and Phosphorus.
