Job Summary

Value Technology is seeking an experienced Camunda Developer with strong expertise in Camunda 8, Java, and modern full-stack technologies to design and implement scalable business process management (BPM) solutions in the Banking & Financial domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in microservices architecture, cloud-native deployments, DevOps practices, and enterprise-grade application development.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement business workflows using Camunda (Camunda 8).
Develop robust backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
Build dynamic and responsive UI components using React and modern front-end design patterns.
Architect and implement scalable microservices-based solutions.
Integrate Camunda workflows with enterprise systems, APIs, IAM, and middleware platforms.
Develop RESTful APIs and ensure secure service-to-service communication.
Work with databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle (PL/SQL, Advanced PL/SQL).
Implement containerized deployments using Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes.
Deploy and manage cloud-native applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and DevOps toolchains.
Monitor application performance using DX-APM and Splunk.
Ensure application security standards, IAM integrations (Ping Federate), and API gateway configurations (TYK).
Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices around scalability, optimization, availability, and automation.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Retrospectives).
Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.

Required Technical Skills

8+ years of experience in Java-based enterprise application development
Strong expertise in Camunda 8 BPM
Hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA
Experience with React and front-end UI architecture/design patterns
Strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture
Experience with RESTful APIs and system integrations
Proficiency in PostgreSQL and Oracle (PL/SQL)
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices
Cloud experience (AWS – IaaS, PaaS, CaaS)
Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
Experience with Shell Scripting and Python (preferred)
Understanding of IAM tools such as Ping Federate
Knowledge of API gateways (TYK)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

Banking or Financial Services domain experience
Experience working in highly regulated environments
Strong background in application security and performance tuning
Exposure to monitoring tools (Splunk, APM tools)
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
