Job Summary

Value Technology seeking a highly experienced Java Full Stack Architect with deep expertise in backend microservices, frontend development, and cloud-native architectures. The ideal candidate will lead design and development of scalable enterprise applications using modern technologies including Spring Boot, Angular, and AWS. This role requires strong architectural vision, hands-on coding ability, and leadership in cloud-based distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and design enterprise-grade applications using Java and modern full-stack frameworks.
  • Design and implement microservices-based architectures using Spring Boot.
  • Develop responsive and scalable front-end applications using Angular.
  • Lead cloud-native application development and deployments on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Define API standards and develop RESTful services with proper security mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT).
  • Implement event-driven architecture and service communication strategies.
  • Design CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation workflows.
  • Guide development teams on coding standards, performance optimization, and best practices.
  • Ensure system scalability, resilience, availability, and security.
  • Perform architecture reviews and code reviews.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide architectural solutions.
  • Document architecture design, technical decisions, and system diagrams.

Required Technical Skills

Backend:

  • Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17
  • Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security
  • Microservices Architecture
  • RESTful API Development
  • Hibernate / JPA
  • Messaging systems (Kafka / RabbitMQ – preferred)

Frontend:

  • Angular (Latest versions preferred)
  • TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
  • UI/UX best practices
  • State management (NgRx – preferred)

Cloud & DevOps:

  • AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, CloudWatch)
  • Docker & Kubernetes
  • CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation – preferred)

Database:

  • SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • NoSQL (MongoDB – preferred)
  • Performance tuning & query optimization

Architecture & Design Experience

  • API Gateway & Load Balancing strategies
  • Security frameworks (OAuth2, JWT, SAML – preferred)
  • Caching strategies (Redis, Hazelcast)
  • High availability and disaster recovery design
  • Scalability and performance optimization
  • Cloud-native and containerized architecture
  • Monitoring and logging (Splunk, ELK, CloudWatch)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services / banking domain (if applicable)
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and event-driven design
  • Experience in large-scale enterprise transformations
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture principles
