Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer- IBM i system admin

Visa: NO H1B

Job Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI (Onsite - Local Only)

Job Duration: 11+ Months contract (with possible extension)

Job Description

Perform IBM I administration, including system installs, PTF deployment, HMC maintenance, system firmware, software installation, configuration, custom development, and security requirements.
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.
Review system logs, application logs and verify the successful completion of scheduled jobs, such as backups.
Perform problem isolation, definition, resolution and follow-up for system, application, and customer problems.
Provide monthly reporting regarding system performance and assist with capacity planning requirements.
Maintain 3rd party software applications.
Participate in Disaster Recovery testing.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above.
