We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to manage and optimize IBM i (AS/400) environments. As part of a mission-critical infrastructure team, you will ensure system reliability, security, and peak performance for a global managed services provider.

salary: $48.39 - 50.00 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm

responsibilities:
- Execute full-lifecycle IBM i administration, including installations, PTF deployments, and configuration.
- Oversee HMC maintenance and critical system/firmware upgrades.
- Conduct daily monitoring of hardware and server resources to ensure 100% system availability.
- Lead problem definition and resolution for complex system and application issues.
qualifications:
5+ years of dedicated experience in IBM i (AS/400) administration.
Proven expertise in HMC maintenance and system firmware management.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Ability to work 100% onsite in Pleasant Prairie, WI.
