Title: Database Administrator (On-site)
Location: Tallahassee, FL || Duration: Long-Term
Required Skills and Experience
* The candidate must have skill and 15 years combined experience in database administration for the following database platforms:
* DB2 for z/OS
* SQL Server 2008R2, 2012
* Oracle 10g and above
* Experience with the client integrated database infrastructure is a plus.
* Knowledge of the client Financial Management applications is a plus.
* Knowledge of the client integrated application environment is a plus
Primary Responsibilities
* This resource will primarily be tasked with performing Database (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, GIS) planning and operational activities including, but not limited to the following:
* Daily operational and database administration activities
* Plan, design, implement, support for database structures
* Conduct database performance monitoring and tuning
* Develop and maintain database administration procedures and documentation
* Perform SQL Code reviews
* Assist with training/mentoring other technical staff This resource may also be required to perform other database or infrastructure activities as requested
Education
* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
