Lead Program Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Madison, WI that is seeking a Lead Program Manager for a 3-6 month contract role. This is a hybrid position, requiring three days per week in the office and two days remote, with some flexibility.

Summary:
The Lead Program Manager will act as the lead Project Manager for this program, coordinating across project teams, managing risks, and ensuring alignment across workstreams. Upon successful conversion to a full-time role, this individual would transition into a Project Manager III position within our Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). This role is responsible for managing some of the largest and most complex enterprise projects and programs within the organization.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree (or equivalent professional experience)
* A PMP or similar certification is preferred
* 6+ years of project management experience
* Experience in the financial services industry is helpful but not required
* Experience operating at a Senior Project Manager/Program Manager level, leading multiple concurrent projects
* Vendor management experience, including working closely with external partners and product vendors
* Coordination with an Organizational Change Management (OCM) lead to support communication and adoption strategies
* Comfort working with project management and reporting tools (we currently utilize Orchestra) and basic analytics/reporting platforms
* Experience with core banking or financial technology platforms or related preferred
* Ability to orchestrate multiple workstreams, track risks, and maintain regular program-level reporting with key stakeholders

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
