Salesforce Pre-Sales Solution Consultant to join our growing Salesforce Practice based in
Kochi, India. The role will be responsible for leading pre-sales solutioning activities and supporting business development pursuits across the
United States and European markets.
The ideal candidate will combine deep Salesforce platform expertise with strong client-facing consulting skills to help shape transformative customer solutions, respond to RFPs/RFIs, conduct discovery workshops, develop solution architectures, and support sales teams in securing new business opportunities.
This role requires close collaboration with global sales, solution architecture, delivery, and practice leadership teams while engaging directly with enterprise customers and stakeholders.
Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Sales & Solutioning- Partner with Sales and Account Teams to understand client business challenges, objectives, and transformation needs.
- Lead solution discovery workshops and requirements discussions with prospective customers across North America and Europe.
- Design scalable Salesforce solutions leveraging Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, ITSM & HR Ops, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, AI capabilities, and industry-specific Salesforce offerings.
- Develop high-quality solution proposals, presentations, architecture diagrams, and implementation roadmaps.
- Support RFP, RFI, and RFQ responses with comprehensive technical and functional solution designs.
- Estimate project scope, effort, timelines, delivery models, and resource requirements.
- Translate business requirements into end-to-end technology solutions aligned with Salesforce best practices.
Client Engagement & Consulting- Conduct executive-level presentations and solution demonstrations.
- Act as a trusted advisor during customer evaluations and sales cycles.
- Present solution value propositions, transformation strategies, and ROI-driven business cases.
- Facilitate customer workshops focused on business process optimization and digital transformation.
Salesforce Solution Architecture- Define target-state architectures integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications and third-party platforms.
- Provide guidance on data migration, integrations, security, governance, and platform scalability.
- Align proposed solutions with Salesforce platform capabilities and product roadmaps.
- Collaborate with delivery architects to ensure seamless transition from pre-sales to project execution.
Practice & Innovation- Contribute to development of reusable accelerators, industry offerings, solution templates, and demo assets.
- Stay current on Salesforce product innovations, AI capabilities, release updates, and industry trends.
- Support capability building initiatives within the Salesforce practice.
- Mentor junior consultants and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions.
Required QualificationsEducation- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
Experience- 8-12 years of overall IT consulting experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on Salesforce consulting, solutioning, or solution architecture experience.
- Proven experience supporting pre-sales pursuits for enterprise customers.
- Experience working with clients across the US and European regions.
- Strong understanding of CRM transformation programs and cloud adoption initiatives.
