Summary

Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
Lead end-to-end healthcare IT and service delivery projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
Manage project scope, risks, dependencies, and change control processes.
Deliver projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with healthcare quality standards.
Provide executive-level reporting and clear project updates.
Healthcare Integration & M&A Support
Lead service integration initiatives for mergers, acquisitions, or newly affiliated entities.
Coordinate consolidation of IT service desks, infrastructure, networks, and clinical applications.
Oversee data migration, system cutovers, access alignment, and workflow harmonization.
Ensure interoperability between EHR/EMR systems and ancillary applications.
Develop transition roadmaps to stabilize operations post-integration.
Identify and mitigate risks impacting patient safety, regulatory compliance, and operational continuity.
Service Delivery & Operational Alignment
Monitor and support SLA adherence and service performance improvements.
Collaborate across IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, clinical informatics, and application teams.
Implement ITSM best practices including incident, change, and problem management.
Drive standardization of tools, governance models, and service processes across integrated entities.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure projects comply with HIPAA and other healthcare regulatory requirements.
Maintain secure handling of PHI during system migrations and integrations.
Support audit readiness through documentation and control implementation.
Partner with Compliance and Security teams throughout project lifecycles.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Engage with clinical leadership, department heads, and executive stakeholders to align priorities.
Facilitate workshops and cross-functional planning sessions.
Manage third-party vendors and integration partners to ensure delivery quality.
Communicate project impact and progress transparently during high-stakes transitions.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years of project management experience in healthcare IT or service delivery.
Proven experience managing healthcare mergers, acquisitions, or multi-entity integration projects.
Experience supporting clinical systems in hospital or provider settings.
Strong knowledge of ITSM frameworks and service delivery principles.
Demonstrated business analysis skills: translating business requirements into technical and operational solutions.
Excellent risk management, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
