Job DescriptionWe are seeking a customer-focused
Desktop Support Technician to support a mixed Windows and Apple iOS environment in a fast-paced enterprise setting. This role will be responsible for providing hands-on technical support, device deployments, and troubleshooting issues for end users across the organization.
The ideal candidate brings strong customer service skills, solid desktop support experience, and comfort working with both
Windows 11 and Apple iOS devices in a managed environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Tier 1-2 desktop support for end users in a 50/50 Windows and Apple iOS environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues
- Support device deployments and address issues throughout the deployment lifecycle
- Image and configure devices using SCCM
- Assist with Active Directory tasks such as account support and access troubleshooting
- Register and manage devices using Microsoft Intune
- Support and troubleshoot Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) issues (nice to have)
- Perform basic networking troubleshooting (connectivity, peripherals, printers, etc.)
- Deliver high-quality customer service while meeting support expectations and SLAs
Technical Environment- Approximately 1,200 users and 2,000 devices
- Windows 11 and Apple iOS devices
- SCCM for imaging and deployments
- Microsoft Active Directory and Intune
- MFA and basic networking support
Required Skills & Experience- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Hands-on experience with Windows desktop support
- Experience supporting end users in an enterprise environment
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and OS-related issues
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing IT support role
Nice to Have- Experience supporting Apple iOS devices
- Familiarity with Multi-Factor Authentication
- Experience with Intune device registration
- Basic networking knowledge
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
